The Last Two Days

So I have failed at keeping up my blog but NOT on working out and eating well! I was at work this weekend and when I'm at work, I am literally stuck at work all weekend from Friday afternoon till Monday morning so I can not go to the gym. My eating habits aren't always the bed at work either but I'm doing better thN I used to. So this I went to the gym both Monday and today! It's been more difficult because Kayla has not been going with me. I have found that I don't push myself nearly as hard as I do when Kayla is there. At least I'm still going!!
Monday I did my 4 miles on the elliptical and then walked around the track for a little bit. Today I did 2 1/2 miles on the elliptical and alternated walking the track and doing the bike. I have been eating egg whites and toast for breakfast and salad with a little bit of tuna and light Italian dressing in it for lunch. For diner I just eat whatever we're having at work I just have a small portion of it.

I'm BACK!

So I fell off the wagon, but I'm back on!!!!

Today I went to the gym and I went HARD. I don't think I ever would have pushed myself like I did if Kayla wasn't there. It was awesome and I felt/feel amazing! I am so proud of both Kayla and I. We both kind of decided that we are going to stick with cardio for a while then slowly get back into weights.

Today's Workout
I decided I had to start setting actual goals for my workouts because I was never pushing myself hard enough. As soon as I got tired or a muscle started hurting, I quite. That's not going to happen anymore! I don't like going off of calories burnt or time so I decided distance was a good goal because I can always increase it day by day.
So today I did FOUR miles on the elliptical. Yes, four! I didn't think I was going to make it but seeing Kayla keep going helped me a lot! She did get done with hers before me, so I was just going to stop and move on with her to the next thing but when I saw how close I was to that 4 mile mark I had to keep going. I think I would have been SO mad at myself if I had stopped and Kayla said she would have slapped me haha that's what friends are for!  After the elliptical I did four miles on the pedaling machine. I then walked on the treadmill and track the rest of the time wile Kayla did the escalator thing. I refuse to do that right now because I always feel like I'm going to lose my balance and fall off of it! Maybe one day I'll try it out again.

Today's Food
Today I had 2 eggs, a piece of toast and a yogurt for breakfast.
I had ONE helping of the mini rice cakes that I am addicted to for a snack this morning.
I had a leftover piece of pizza for lunch. I know, I know, but I haven't made it to the store yet!
I will probably have a yogurt for snack this afternoon.
For dinner at work on the menu is ranch burger macaroni or something like that so I will just have a LITTLE bit of that and some veggies!

Well, that's been my day! I'M BACK!!!
